Our story
LaDorada began in Miami with a clear intent: to honor Colombian workmanship while designing for contemporary living.
Master artisans bring generations of technique to trays, bowls, candlesticks, boards, and objets—specialists in inlay, lamination, and hand polishing.
Since 2023, the Monaco studio has refined proportion and detail for modern interiors and global retail partners.
As LaDorada expands in Europe and relaunches in the United States, the focus remains: quiet lines, tactile finishes, and enduring craft.
Materials and making
Horn, bone, coconut, mother of pearl, and fine wood veneers are selected for tone and grain, set by hand, and finished to a soft luster. Natural variation is inherent—no two pieces are identical.
Responsible practice
We build for longevity and keep production small. Our workshop network sustains skilled jobs in Colombia and supports training and entrepreneurship for women through Corporacion Mujer Colombiana.
